It’s been about a month since I started searching for a small apartment to rent for my daughter, who studies there. I visited many real estate agencies, but with no success. They told me to send an email, assuring me they’d get back to me, but the only replies I received were along the lines of, “We don’t have what you’re looking for.” Couldn’t they just tell me that directly at their offices? The experience in the offices was odd, as if my desire for direct communication was from another planet. They’d say, “We operate only online.” My intention with a formal visit was to introduce myself to prevent any prejudices associated with being from a non-European country. I also asked for phone numbers, but those weren’t available either. Eventually, I turned to my own search and found Denise. She was the only person who called me back, even though she didn’t have the exact listing I needed. Nonetheless, the warmth and professionalism in her communication truly stood out. She made an effort to help by sending me contacts she had. She was really nice and professional, and I strongly recommend her.
