I had a very disappointing experience with this driving school. I already had driving experience before I joined, but they still failed me twice and then forced me to take 10 extra lessons. It felt more like a way to make money than to actually help me improve. The lessons were only 50 minutes long, which is very short considering the high prices they charge. On top of that, they only let me drive in Veldhoven once, giving me very little real-world practice or preparation for the exam. Communication was poor, and I never felt supported or respected as a student. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone.

Untrustworthy Driving School – Poor Communication, Overcharging, and Unfair Refund I signed up with Rijles24 and paid €685 as the first installment for a driving lesson package. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I felt misled. After just three lessons (including the trial lesson), I decided to cancel — well within the 14-day cooling-off period — due to several red flags: The price they charged me was different from what was advertised on their website. After I paid, they began ignoring my messages and delayed scheduling. They refused to provide a signed copy of the contract. Communication was poor and unprofessional, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the company. When I canceled, they refunded me only €121 out of €685 and gave a confusing breakdown that included: An illegal €195 “cancellation fee” (their own contract says €29.50), Overcharged €40 for the trial lesson (should be €25), €115 for one lesson, which is far higher than expected, A vague charge of €280.50 with no explanation. They refused to give a transparent explanation and did not follow their own terms. I strongly suspect this company takes advantage of people, especially non-Dutch speakers who are unfamiliar with Dutch contracts and laws. I have reported this to ConsuWijzer and am considering further legal action. Avoid Rijles24. Do not trust them with your money or time. Look for a certified, transparent, and reliable driving school instead.

Slechte ervaring. Andere verwachting verteld dan nagekomen, de hele opleiding duurde veel te lang en het leek vooral om geld te draaien. Achteraf voelde het als verspilde tijd en moeite. Tip: check het slagingspercentage op de website van het cbr “rijschoolzoeker” voordat je een rijschool kiest.

DO NOT JOIN RIJLES 24 – WORST DRIVING SCHOOL EXPERIENCE I had an absolutely devastating experience with Rijles 24 and would strongly advise anyone against joining this school. While the instructor seemed friendly and convincing during the trial lesson, everything went downhill once I signed up. First, the instructor’s behavior was harsh and unfriendly during the lessons. I understand that learning to drive requires some strictness, but being overly harsh only demotivates students. It was incredibly discouraging. Second, the organization of the lessons was a nightmare. Scheduling a lesson involved texting a person at the desk, who would then communicate with the instructor. This process was chaotic, and there were frequent mismatches in information. On multiple occasions, the instructor didn’t show up, wasting my time and effort. But the worst part was the complete lack of transparency and dishonesty around payments and promises. During the trial lesson, it was agreed that I would take 13 lessons, and they would book my driving exam. I paid for all the lessons and the exam upfront. However, they failed to book the exam and instead kept badgering me to pay for additional lessons. They refused to stick to the agreement and claimed I wasn’t ready for the exam—something that was my decision to make, not theirs. When I asked for a refund, they made endless excuses, demanded cancellation fees and administrative costs, and delayed the process. I only got a partial refund after repeatedly warning them that I would escalate the issue to the CBR or a consumer court. They even blocked me on WhatsApp and never cared to respond to me. By then, I had lost so much time and money that I decided to cut my losses. AVOID THIS DRIVING SCHOOL AT ALL COSTS – TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!
