How did you get into coaching & counselling?
I started my journey in sustainability science and pursued a PhD focused on global challenges. But as I progressed, I realized that my true passion lay in working with students; that’s when I felt most alive. Something was missing, so I decided to follow a long-held dream. While continuing my PhD, I began a coaching and counselling education, which quickly became my passion project. It felt like coming home.
The energy I experienced working with clients on their personal development was a stark contrast to how I felt in academia. After four years, I made the bold decision to leave academia and fully dedicate myself to coaching and counselling. I love working with individuals and teams, forming meaningful connections, and helping others do the same in their lives. Those two years of training opened my eyes to the path I truly wanted to follow, and now I’m here to support others in finding theirs.

How can I be sure of the quality of this coaching?
In the Netherlands, the term "coach" isn't legally protected, meaning that anyone can technically call themselves a coach. However, I have completed a certified two-year coaching and counselling education at the Academy for Coaching & Counselling, during which I experienced significant personal and professional growth. I am trained in a variety of methodologies, including non-violent communication, positive psychology, transactional analysis, and family constellations, among others. In addition to my formal training, I have four years of experience coaching students, individual clients, and groups. Rather than just taking my word for it, I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free session to see how you feel about what I have to offer.
What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
Coaching and counselling are closely linked and complementary. Counselling dives into the past, helping to uncover and resolve any underlying patterns, while coaching focuses on how to move forward and make positive changes for the future. I combine both approaches to make sure that anything from the past that might be holding you back is addressed, so you can confidently work on creating the future you want.
What languages do you coach in?
I coach in English and German.
