I'm Michiel Muilwijk, the founder and drone pilot at Drone Aerial. Based in Amstelveen and Utrecht, I've turned my passion for flying and photography into a career. I often joke that a drone is just a flying camera, but it's so much more than that. The possibilities are vast, from creating full-length films and conducting photoshoots to creating 3D models and surveillance.

My work isn't just about flying; it's about controlling every aspect of the drone, including the direction of the lens. My goal is to tell a story through images and to collaborate with you to achieve this. By getting to know you better, I can understand exactly what you want.

I'm a fan of Alfa Romeo cars and love to discuss them. They're designed for winding roads and are driven with feeling, much like how I operate my drones. To stay fit, I enjoy walking in the forest, on the beach, or in the dunes. I'm always open to combining a good walk with a great conversation.

I also love to explore, which is exactly what you can do with a drone: see things from a perspective you can't achieve on your own. As a hobby, I enjoy gliding. Being a Pilot In Command (PIC) has taught me the importance of strict aviation requirements and team responsibility. Through checklists, vigilance, and practice, we can ensure safety together.
