Rijk De Tegelzetter

Rijk came highly recommended by someone in the flooring industry, so I was confident in his capabilities. Indeed, the work he has done is beautiful and testifies of craftmanship. However, not all work we agreed on was done due to planning issues. These issues had nothing to do with Rijk's planning, but are not uncommon on construction projects I suppose. I agreed to fully pay for the work he had done, it seemed only fair. Soon afterwards, I tried to make an appointment to finish the work. Rijk didn't show on multiple occasions, without letting me know in advance. After weeks and weeks of delay and yet another no show, I remained understanding but told Rijk he should improve on his communication skills. This triggered the man to get very unpleasant. I was shocked, considering the patience I had demonstrated. As a result, I fully lost confidence and decided to get the remainder of the work done without him. If you need craftmanship for your tiling and you are sure that nothing can interfere with your planning, Rijk is your man. Otherwise, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
