Very disappointed notary that misunderstood our intention for setting up the prenup for our partnership and thought we are trying to get a workaround on the legal limitation. It’s not like we can change the law and the reality of it. We tried our best to explain our case and also explained we understand the limitations and are willing to acknowledge any jurisdiction impact in paper if necessary, but it just felt like they are not flexible enough to handle the complexity of our case and eventually rejecting by saying we are trying to get away with the rules and it conflicts with their best practices. Many of my friends are having the same situation and we are definitely not the first or only case that is asking for such a request.
