We hired Nicki as our day-of wedding coordinator, and it was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We would not even want to imagine how our wedding, or the weeks leading up to it, would have gone if we hadn’t had her by our side. Nicki is exceptionally o... rganised, highly skilled and experienced, caring, and dedicated. From the very beginning, communication was very smooth. She is organised and always three steps ahead. Whenever we’d have a question or concern, we could rely on her to help us with it. When we met at our venue to run through the logistics/practicalities, we witnessed how her brilliant mind worked. Nicki had considered every little detail and scenario that we would not have even thought of. We felt such great relief wash over us, and we were elated to have her. Nicki is particularly skilled at combining kindness and warmth with firmness and total professionalism. We had one particularly difficult vendor throughout our wedding planning, and from the moment Nicki became involved, we immediately felt supported and protected. Knowing she was handling things allowed us to stop worrying so much. On the wedding day itself, she exceeded every expectation we had. The moment we arrived at the venue, we felt total relief. Before we even had a chance to ask, there was cold water waiting for us because she remembered I had texted her earlier that morning that I was incredibly thirsty. Originally, I had a wish for a reveal where our guests would only see us after our first look, but we accepted that it wouldn’t be possible with our timeline. We (the couple) were running behind schedule after a very emotional morning, but Nicki repeatedly reassured us and even coordinated the first look with our photographer and videographer. However, even amidst all the chaos and rush, Nicki thought quickly on her feet and saw an opportunity: she created a truly magical reveal moment that was beyond anything we could have imagined. She had kept this wish (which I had only mentioned once, more in the beginning of our communication) in mind throughout such a busy day, and then brought it to life so beautifully! That reveal moment was one of the most memorable from our special day, and that happened all thanks to Nicki. She anticipates needs before you even realise you have them, and I think that’s exactly what makes Nicki so exceptional. Throughout the day she somehow managed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. She would quietly appear exactly when needed, asking whether I wanted a quick touch-up (before photos, ceremony, dinner, etc.), and making sure we were also fed and hydrated. She made us feel completely cared for. Behind the scenes, she was orchestrating a million things at once. We had quite a few vendors involved throughout the day, and from what we heard afterwards it was clear how impressed everyone was by her professionalism and skill. We also know she dealt with situations we never even became aware of (including issues with our most difficult vendor) because for us, and for our guests, the day went by flawlessly. Our guests have since repeatedly told us how incredibly well organised everything was, and that they also felt very taken care of. None of us had any idea what was happening behind the scenes, because Nicki handled absolutely everything with calm competence. The greatest gift Nicki gave us was the freedom to be fully present. We never had to think about timing, logistics, or any practicalities. We got to enjoy every second with each other and with the people we love. That peace of mind is something we will always be grateful for. Thank you, Nicki, for your incredible dedication, professionalism, kindness, and care.
