My work is characterized by discreetly capturing the magic of honest, candid moments and the beauty of the day. I'm after timeless, cinematic shots full of movement, an abundance of emotion, and a touch of fashion. Next to that, I definitely live for creating images that make the viewer feel something and I'm inspired by the little moments that make up the big picture. A lot of my work is done through communication with my couples before the wedding; I would love to get to know who you are, what matters to you, and how you envision your celebrations. This helps me to tailor the experience for you as a couple and pay extra attention to what you love and value. I’m passionate about the connection between two humans - their love and the story that has brought them to this moment. And I’m always honored to be let into people's lives for such a special day. The wedding couples that I photograph capture a part of my heart, which makes it feel like they’re friends, instead of clients. It feels so special to be a part of their wedding and to capture moments of their special day for them. I'm lucky enough to work all over Europe and beyond with my camera, as well as at home in the Netherlands. Whether I capture a next-level destination wedding, an elopement, a city wedding in my hometown Amsterdam, or a rustic wedding in the countryside, I'm always celebrating the individuality of each wedding.
