Jorge, the Makelaar I had from Solid Net provided a fabulous service. What was great about it was a tailored approached. He was consistent, listened and applied the discussed criteria and points. He also discussed with me the possibilities and pros and cons of properties. This was very helpful, because as a client you may not have a lot of experience with real estate. I would get advice to for example, not ask whether I can get x from the apartment, because usually it's included and asking for something could give them unnecessary leverage. I had no idea about this. So I appreciated the pointers, advice and the consistent help. Besides quick thinking, taking action that works, Jorge is also a nice person. Further, Solid Net daily sent me property recommendations by email which was very helpful.

From viewing to signing, everything went very quickly and smoothly. Communication was always clear and efficient, Jorge responded to my questions promptly and guided me through every step of the process. In Amsterdam, where finding a good place to live can be quite stressful and competitive, I was really impressed by how fast everything was arranged. Thanks to Jorge’s help, I was able to find and secure my new home in a short time. Overall, the process felt very organized and transparent. I truly appreciate the professionalism, efficiency, and kindness. Highly recommended!

Truly terrible experience. Found an apartment through a different real estate agent much quicker after we stopped working with solid net. Here's the long story: My friend and I were searching for an apartment to rent in Amsterdam, and we were aware that it was not going to be an easy hunt, especially being students, which is why we decided to put our trust in Solid net Vastgoed. We worked with Jorge and Naomi for a bit over a month and in the end could no longer take the added stress and frustration. Many apartments that we were sent, proved to be either not available to students, or had other drawbacks that we had mentioned were important to us (we were sent apartments available for 12 months; with very small second rooms; ect.). While in communication, our messages were either not read by the real estate agents or our concerns (for example our hesitation in paying 12 months rent upfront) were responded to in a disrespectful manner or dismissed (“chances will vanish” “being students!” “-again-” + being sent messages meant for other clients and being addressed with the wrong names). When trying to express our concerns about the communication, we were met with hostility. Additionally the same apartments were sent in back to back even after we had already responded. Messages were copy pasted as replies and sent in multiple times and the manner in which things were phrased was often quite condescending. My friend and I continued to look on our own and tried to aid the process by sending in additional apartments that we thought looked good. We were often left either on read or did not hear anything back for about 4 working days. As the stress was rising, we started booking viewings on our own and ended up getting multiple, even as students. Through Solid net we got a total of 2 viewings to which, neither Jorge nor Naomi were able to accompany us. A third one we had booked on our own and asked if they could attend the 15 minuet slot. As they were 13 minuets late, they were not able to give us much insight. We regret that our working together was not a more enjoyable time, were not sure if us being students or young women contributed to our unfortunate experience, but in any case the hostility became too much and we decided to go with another company that immediately greeted us with respect and understanding for our situation.
