At Trustoo, we’re looking for a CRM Specialist to join our Demand Marketing team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing and optimizing lifecycle campaigns targeted at our demand-side customers – the people searching for and booking local service providers. Your mission: deliver the right message to the right person at the right time – from onboarding to upsell.

Trustoo offers some 150,000 local companies, in more than 80 industries, a platform to be easily found online. Why this role matters
As our CRM Specialist, you’ll ensure our B2C audiences receive relevant, personalized communication. You’ll be responsible for setting up, testing, and optimizing email flows, campaigns, and audience segments – directly impacting activation, conversion and retention.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and manage automated and one-off email campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement, and retention of demand-side users (consumers searching for local service providers).
- Design and optimize lifecycle journeys, from first-touch welcome flows to re-engagement and repeat usage campaigns.
- Set up and refine user segmentation strategies based on behavior, demographics, and intent signals.
- Run A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve email performance, personalization, and timing.
- Work closely with Data and Product teams to leverage behavioral and transactional data for smarter targeting and deeper insights.
- Support campaign launches for seasonal or category-specific marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with Brand, Content, and Performance Marketing to ensure a consistent and compelling user experience across all channels.
- Report on CRM performance metrics (open/click rates, activation, conversion, churn) and translate insights into action.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and privacy best practices in all CRM activities.
- Stay on top of CRM trends and tooling developments to keep Trustoo’s capabilities ahead of the curve.
A day in your life at Trustoo
Your day starts with a quick stand-up with the Demand Marketing team to review performance from a new onboarding flow launched last week. After that, you dive into engagement data and set up a test to optimize the timing of the second email in the series.
In the afternoon, you brainstorm with Product Marketing on a new segment for a win-back campaign targeting inactive customers. You wrap up with a sync with the CX team to incorporate their feedback into a follow-up flow for newly converted leads.
We’re looking for someone who...
- Has 6+ years of experience in CRM or marketing automation, ideally in a B2C environment or scale-up.
- Is familiar with tools like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar.
- Has strong skills in data segmentation and A/B testing.
- Understands what makes effective email copy and design.
- Is analytical and continuously seeks to improve performance.
- Works independently and enjoys collaborating across teams.
- Is fluent in Dutch and has strong English communication skills.
